Suffern Junior Woman's Club Fundraising
The Suffern Junior Woman's Club raises money through a number of activities.
- Family Bingo Night
- Annual Pecan Sales
- Membership Dues
- Donations
Special Fundraising Projects
The SJWC often takes on a "Special Project" to raise money as well as awareness for either medical or social foundations. Past Special Projects have included:
- A benefit luncheon and fashion show with raffles and door prizes that benefited the Rett Syndrome Foundation
- A benefit performance of the musical, GREASE, co-sponsored with SUNY Rockland Community College Performing Arts Department that benefited the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
- A cookbook, RECIPES TO REMEMBER . that benefited the Suffern Free Library
Announcing our latest Special Project!!!
Sweet and Savory Seasons is a collection of 350 of our favorite recipes. All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will benefit the SJWC High School Scholarship. Sweet and Savory Seasons will be available Fall 2010. Check the website for tasting and sales events.
